Branch & Calendar

The Torbay & East Devon branch has been running since 1978, shortly after the closure of the former Torbay branch. Having moved around the local area, the branch has been based in Teignmouth for many years. Meetings are held at the Alice Cross Centre on the second Thursday of each month. Each meeting features one or more talks on a maritime subject, and we have a diverse membership. We begin shortly after 19:30, stopping for refreshments halfway through. Non-members are most welcome.

Branch membership can be paid annually (£18) or per night (£2 per meeting). Our meetings are friendly and informal, with a mixture of invited guest speakers and talks from our members. In 2017 hosted the World Ship Society's AGM.
